While making a Boggle game bulletin board
{idea & printable Boggle form found here at Create*Teach*Share}
I needed some cute letters and didn't have any.
So I created some fun polka dot letters
that I thought I would share.
I used red polka dots to match my room but have tons of other colors of polka dots. So if you'd like me to make them with a different background- just let me know!

What is BOGGLE?
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI am going to start this in my kindergarten classroom right after Christmas break and was wondering how you made the sheet they write the words on.Also what is that is hanging beside the clipboard...The little thing on the right.. I think it is a great idea!!!!I love the polka dots because that is what my classroom is done in!!!Do you have any othe great ideas I can use??
ReplyDeleteIf you click on the link at the beginning of the post it will take you to a post where you can find the sheet they write the words on. The little thing hanging beside the clipboard is just a clip that holds the extra letters.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!! I love the idea
ReplyDeleteHOW MUCH FUN IS THIS!!
ReplyDeleteDid you use tape for the letters to stay, or did you make them magnetic?
ReplyDeleteI actually used plasti-tak but magnets would work just as well!
DeleteI want to start this in my classroom and love your letter cards. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious how you use this in your classroom... How do you introduce it to the students, what are the expectations for them, how often do you refer to it during the week, and how do you choose the letters you post? Thanks!! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's used in my classroom for students who have already finished their work and I just randomly change the letters every few weeks- making sure to include some vowels and consonants. They use the sheet I linked to above is what the students fill out. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteWhat program do you use to make the letters? I'm looking for bright green and polka dots! Would love to know how you make them though!
ReplyDeleteI used powerpoint and actually have a green set made. If you leave me your email address or if you email me I'll be happy to send them to you!
