Online Stories

There are some great online stories that students can listen to and watch.
These are some great interactive alternatives to TV viewing
and video game playing that make reading FUN!

Here are few I really like:

StoryPlace has lots of stories and activities for children of all ages.

Speakaboos has many stories- some are only available
with a paid subscription but there are also many
that are FREE including 7 Arthur stories
and several Spanish titles!

Between the Lions  has lots of stories
 in the following categories:

Mightybook also has many stories that are online available
with a paid subscription, but also has many that are free!

RIF Reading Planet has several stories to choose from and are rotated often.

Mrs. P.com has many stories that Mrs. P will read to you in her library.
MrsP.com was created with the goal of giving kids the wonderful experience of having a trusted, skilled storyteller read them classics of literature. Rather than simply presenting an audiobook, Mrs. P recreates the look and feel of “story time,” a magical ritual many kids might not otherwise get to enjoy.
A very fun site!

Starfall's I'm Reading has lots of stories to choose from.

Storytime for Me has tons of really cute books about three different characters:
Ben the Mouse, Fern the Fox, and Flame the Dragon.

Here are some others I've blogged about before:
